New Project to Examine the Links between Domestic Violence and Poverty and Social Exclusion

The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS) has received a grant from the European Commission European fund for the Integration of Third-country Nationals to implement a transnational project entitled “Young Migrant Women in Secondary Education – Promoting integration and mutual understanding through dialogue and exchange”. The project has a duration of 18 months.
Representatives from 13 partner organisations across Europe, including the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies, attended a meeting held in Lisbon by Family Planning Association in Portugal (APF) to formulate the priorities for the END FGM campaign strategy. This strategy will be launched across the European Union by the partners in the beginning of next year.
