END FGM partners formulate campaign strategy at Lisbon meeting

end fgm campaign badgeRepresentatives from 13 partner organisations across Europe, including the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies,  attended a meeting held in Lisbon by Family Planning Association in Portugal (APF) to formulate the priorities for the END FGM campaign strategy.  This strategy will be launched across the European Union by the partners in the beginning of next year. Trafficking in Women for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation in Cyprus

Perspective: Peer Education Roots for School Pupils to Enhance Consciousness of Tackling and Impeding Women Violence in Europe

Integration of Third Country Nationals (TCNs)

The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS) is partners to the project coordinated by the University of Malta entitled ‘Integration of Third Country Nationals’ and funded by the European Integration Fund of the Maltese government.

The project will ask whether admission policies in partner countries are really supporting the integration of TCNs or reinforcing their disadvantaged position in the labour market and society. Particular attention will be given to women. (more…)
