MIGS recently became a member of the Euromed Human Rights Network (EMHRN), following the Network’s General Assembly that took place in December 2008.  The EMHRN was established in 1997 in response to the Barcelona Declaration and the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.  It represents over 80 human rights organizations based in 30 countries in the Euromed region. The Mediterranean Institute for Gender Studies is a member of WIDE which is a European network of development NGOs, gender specialists and human rights activists. WIDE monitors and influences international economic and development policy and practice from a feminist perspective. (more…)
