The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies, in partnership with the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family, is implementing a program entitled “Examining the Links between Dometic Violence against Women and Poverty and Social Exclusion” within the framework of the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion 2010.
The Legal Informational Centre for NGOs Slovenia-PIC, Slovenia, in partnership with the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies is coordinating a project entitled REACT to Domestic Violence: Building a Support System for Victims of Domestic Violence, and funded by the European Commission Daphne III Programme.
MIGS, in partnership with the European Women’s Lobby (www.womenlobby.org), and with the support of the European Programme on Integration and Migration (EPIM) of the Network of European Foundations for Innovative Cooperation (NEF), is implementing a project within the framework of the project “Equal Rights, Equal Voices: Migrant Women in the EU”.
The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies [MIGS] received funding from the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism to implement a project entitled: ‘YOUTH ALERT: Theatre for the Promotion of Gender Equality Awareness among Young People’.
MIGS received funding from the Anna Lindh Foundation for Dialogue between the Cultures to implement a project entitled Euro-Mediterranean Youth Forum for Gender Citizenship Education.
