MIGS Annual Report 2009

Project Information Leaflets: Young Migrant Women in Secondary Education

The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS), within the framework of the project ‘Young Migrant Women in Secondary Education: Promoting integration and mutual understanding through dialogue and exchange’, has published project information leaflets outlining the aims and objectives of the project, the project activities, and information on the project partners.  The project is funded by the  European Commission European fund for the Integration of Third-country Nationals.

The leaflets are available in English, Greek, Maltese, and Spanish.

Amnesty International Launches Campaign Strategy to End FGM

Amnesty International’s END FGM European Campaign calls on European leaders to support its strategy to protect young girls and women affected by FGM.

Touring across five cities in Europe between February and March 2010, the END FGM European Campaign  launch a strategy with tangible recommendations for the EU Member States and the EU institutions. (more…)
