The event will take place Friday, 7th October 2011 (9:00 am) at the Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici “Palazzo Serra di Cassano”, in Via Monte di Dio, 14 – Naples.
It’s organized by TEOMESUS Department of the University “Federico II” of Naples in collaboration with University College Dublin, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and associations Arcigay Napoli Antinous, Le Kassandre, Agedo Palermo.
It’s part of the larger project “Hermes – Linking Network to Fight Sexual and Gender Stigma”.

The conference provides also a Session “Poster” dedicated to the vision and the presentation of the contributions of those wish to show personal interest and commitment in the prevention of various forms of discrimination related to gender and sexual orientation.
The session “Poster” will be on two specific themes :
- “violence and gender discrimination : clinical and research perspectives”
- and “violence and discrimination against glbtqi people”.
Participant may submit only one contribution.
The deadline for abstract submission is 15 September 2011 at 12:00 a.m.
Abstracts should be sent by mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Each participant may propose only one contribution.
